Hockey core workouts are imperative to improve your game. Swiss ball reverse crunch – this brilliant exercise is very simple. The exercise ball is used to raise the difficulty of the movement. You can first try out the exercise without the ball if it is too hard. Lie down on your back and seize a Swiss ball between your calves. Do not allow the ball to touch the floor, lift it above. Making use of your core, lift the ball up till your legs are straight, and your hips are above the floor.

Swiss ball push-up – this exercise is great for stability. Put your hands over the ball and do a normal push-up. You can try this in reverse by putting your legs on the Swiss ball.

Wood Chopper – get a dumbbell; hold it with your hands. Start with the dumbbell raised on your shoulder of choice. Then, bring it down and across your torso, ending by holding it next to your hip on the opposite side you started. Finish the set and then change sides. This exercise is quite effective in improving your shooting power.
