Schools put a lot of effort put into their sports programs. Anyone who has ever played a sport knows that there is a lot of stuff that goes into making great sports program including Great coaches, long practice hours, and great athletes. In order for a school to dominate in the athletic department there is another thing that they need: confidence. One thing that can boost confidence is how a school presents itself, for example, if the basketball uniforms are dirty, too big, and tattered, the other team isn’t going to take you seriously.
A school should invest in new uniforms once every two or three years. A lot of wear goes into those uniforms, especially for softball. Softball uniforms take a beating with all the dirt and the sliding going on. Those may need to be replaced every year. When a team looks crisp, and put together, they look dangerous. They look intimidating and the opponents are more likely to take them seriously.
This couldn’t be truer than when it comes to track uniforms. Track uniforms often have to be small, and fitted, which is hard to maintain year after year. There are also a variety of styles needed since everyone’s running style is slightly different. And in order for an athlete to compete at their best they have to be comfortable.
Sports are all about hard work and dedication. But competition is a lot about first impressions and intimidation. Schools should have good uniforms if they want to excel in athletics.
