In the world of baseball, numbers generated by radar guns mean a lot to pitchers, hitters and of course, it is in the best interests of the catcher to be well-informed beforehand. One cannot leave the fans out either as a large part of the awe that this team sport generates is based on agility, power and the need for speed.

Since the game is competitive, coaches need to pick the best players for their teams as well as sharpen their skills in practice and so this tool can measure progress with each training session completed.

This is just another way that technology has raised the level of the players’ games in being able to help play according to their strengths and their opponent’s teams weaknesses.
